Charles J. Toeniskoetter

Chuck Toeniskoetter is the Chairman of Toeniskoetter Development, which he co-founded in 1983. He has 35 years of experience in commercial construction and development in the Silicon Valley. Over the course of his career, his business philosophy has been to provide high-quality construction and to develop buildings of enduring design, materials and value. Toeniskoetter has received more than 30 awards for excellence. It has developed more than 3 million square feet of commercial space and has retained a portfolio in excess of 2 million square feet. Professional achievements range from the restoration of San Jose's St. Joseph Cathedral to the renovation of Hewlett Packard's World Headquarters.
Chuck is also active in the community. He is a co-founder of the Stroke Awareness Foundation and sits on its Board of Directors. He is also on the Board of Directors of the San Jose Conservation Corp, Team San Jose, the San Jose Water Company, and Heritage Bank of Commerce.
Chuck received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1967 and an M.B.A. from Stanford University in 1973. He served as an officer in the Marine Corps from1967 to 1970, including a tour in Vietnam, and completed his service as a Captain and Company Commander at Camp Pendleton, California.
From 1973 to 1975, he was a management consultant for McKinsey & Company in the San Francisco office. In 1975, Chuck began his career in development and construction when he took a job at Carl N. Swenson Company, Inc. He soon became Vice President of his division and a member of the Board of Directors. In 1983, he left Swenson to co-found Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Construction and Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development with his partner, Dan Breeding. Over the years, Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. received more than 30 awards for excellence. It developed over 3 million square feet of commercial space and has retained a portfolio in excess of 2 million square feet. Their professional achievements range from the restoration of San Jose's St. Joseph Cathedral to the renovation of Hewlett Packard's World Headquarters.
In 2003, Chuck sold his portion of Toeniskoetter & Breeding Construction to Tony Mirenda, a longtime friend and employee. He maintains his role as Chairman at Toeniskoetter Development (formerly Toeniskoetter & Breeding Development).
Chuck has held leadership positions in numerous civic, charitable and professional organizations. Community recognition includes Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame, Boy Scouts Distinguished Citizen Award, San Jose Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Award, 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Silicon Valley and Silicon Valley Business Journal's Entrepreneur of the Year with Dan Breeding. Chuck is a member of the Board of Directors of three publicly traded companies, SJW Corp. (San Jose Water Co.) and Redwood Trust, Inc., both New York Stock Exchange companies, and Heritage Commerce Corp., a NASDAQ company.
When not working, you can find Chuck riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He has traveled throughout the country, often in company with other Silicon Valley business and professional leaders.

Brad W. Krouskup

Brad W. Krouskup

Brad Krouskup joined Toeniskoetter Development in 1983 after beginning his development career with the Carl N. Swenson Company. As CEO, Brad provides leadership on all real estate acquisitions, development and management. Brad oversees a commercial real estate portfolio of nearly two million square feet and over 40 investment partnerships. Notable projects include 3303 Scott Boulevard in Santa Clara, the Madrone Business Park inMorgan Hill, a master-planned 110 acre business park which boasts 1.5 million square feet of commercial, office and light industrial buildings, the Madrone Village Shopping Center in Morgan Hill, Granite Creek Business Center in Scotts Valley, 450 West Santa Clara Street in San Jose, and 525 Race Street in San Jose. Brad has served on the Board of Directors of the San Jose/Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the Children's Discovery Museum. Brad is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Brad and his wife Dana have lived in Los Gatos for the past thirty years and have two adult children.

As President of Toeniskoetter Development, Erin Toeniskoetter leads the Asset and Property Management team, overseeing over 35 properties totaling nearly two million square feet. The team’s portfolio includes properties developed and built by Toeniskoetter as well as new acquisitions and those managed for third-party clients. A graduate of Cal State Chico, Erin launched her career at Spieker Properties in Southern California before joining Toeniskoetter in 2000. She previously served six years on the Board of Directors of the Humane Society Silicon Valley.

Christi Agundes

Christi Agundes

Vice President Christi Agundes brought a wealth of property management experience with her when she moved from San Diego to join Toeniskoetter in 2011, including seven years at CRBE managing a portfolio of office and industrial properties totaling nearly 1,200,000 square feet followed by a stint managing a 500,000 square foot shopping center with 79 tenants for Donahue Schriber Realty Group. Once at Toeniskoetter, Christi earned her Broker License from the California Bureau of Real Estate. Today she manages over a million square feet of office and R&D space throughout the Bay Area, including Toeniskoetter’s significant stake in self-storage facilities. Christi also supports the due diligence process required for the purchase and/or sale of new properties.

Bernadette Quach

Bernadette Quach

Bernadette is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the accounting department along with supervising the preparation of the financial and cash flow statements for Toeniskoetter management and development assets. Bernadette joined Toeniskoetter Development in March 2008 as a Property Portfolio Accountant, where she was responsible for receivables, bank reconciliations, insurance tracking and assisting with partnership cash flows of over 2 million square feet of commercial real estate property. Before joining Toeniskoetter, she worked in the mortgage banking industry.

Anthony Gaffaney

Senior Portfolio Accountant

Anthony Gaffaney

As a Senior Portfolio Accountant, Anthony's responsibilities include the preparation of Cash Flow Reports and other Financial Reports for over 35 properties and approximately 1.5 million square feet of commercial real estate. Anthony joined Toeniskoetter Development in August of 2015 and enjoys the analytical side of accounting and finance. He has more than 15 years of Real Estate Portfolio Management experience in Silicon Valley. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics-Business from the University of California, Los Angeles and his MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan.

Amy Quach

Amy Quach

Amy joined Toeniskoetter in April 2008 on a part time basis until February 2011 when she became a full time Portfolio Accountant. Amy's responsibilities include processing payables, receivables, reconciling the property bank accounts and working closely with vendors and property managers.

Lisa W. Lemoin

Office Manager & Executive Assistant

Lisa W. Lemoin

Lisa has been with Toeniskoetter since January 2006 and is responsible for managing the historic corporate office on The Alameda. She provides executive support to the Chairman, CEO and President. She also coordinates the due diligence process required for the purchase and sale of properties and provides additional support to the Property Management team.

Guillermo Martin

Facilities Superintendent

Guillermo Martin

As Facilities Superintendent at Toeniskoetter Development, Guillermo Martin is responsible for properties located in Los Gatos, Campbell and San Jose. He joined the Toeniskoetter team in August 2018.

Prior to joining Toeniskoetter, Guillermo worked for seven years in the refrigeration industry, providing excellent customer service in response to the critical demands of the major supermarket chains. Guillermo's overall knowledge of everything mechanical is a great asset to the Toeniskoetter team.

JR Romero

Senior Facilities Superintendent

JR Romero

JR joined the Toeniskoetter Development, Inc. Property Management Team in 2003 as a Facilities Superintendent. He has since been promoted to Senior Facilities Superintendent. With JR's outgoing personality and his commitment to customer service he always makes sure our tenants are well taken care. His extensive knowledge and experience installing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems and equipment is truly an asset not only to our tenants, but the property management team as well. He maintains multiple sites and/or buildings in Morgan Hill, Milpitas and Santa Clara which require him to be dependable, flexible and able to handle multiple requests efficiently.

Gilbert Ruiz

Facilities Superintendent

Gilbert Ruiz

Gilbert started with the Toeniskoetter, Inc. team in April 2006. He has 3 years of HVAC Mechanical experience, 1 year of trade school and 2 years working with a HVAC Mechanical company. Prior to joining Toeniskoetter, Inc., Gilbert was working for CH2MHILL at Greater Bay Bancorp for 5 years as a Facilities Technician. He handled services such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and vendor relationships. Gilbert's training and background will be an asset to the team.
Gilbert is responsible for properties located in Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz and Campbell.
